What is the story?

Your UX designer or frontend developer has just created a wonderful new email footer that should be used by the entire organization from tomorrow. After preparing a new footer, which will look great in all email clients out there, it seems that the hardest part of the work is done. Nothing could be more wrong. A new task unexpectedly comes up – How to deliver a new email footer template to all coworkers? And more importantly:

  • How to ensure that the email footer template will be appropriately adjusted for each person?

  • Should you ask one person to prepare an individual version of the footer signature for everyone?

  • Should you let each of your coworkers edit their footer and signature manually?

Some email services or corporate communication solutions may have functionalities that allow you to define email footer template and distribute it among all employees. However, not every organization has this type of solution, and even if they do have it, not many know how to use it.
